Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try if your Sony subwoofer is not connecting:

  1. Check the power connections. Make sure that both the soundbar and subwoofer are plugged in and turned on.
  2. Reset the subwoofer. Press and hold the LINK button on the back of the subwoofer for 5 seconds. The power indicator should flash orange, then turn solid orange.
  3. Reset the soundbar. Press and hold the CLEAR AUDIO+ button on the soundbar for 5 seconds. The soundbar will power off and then back on.
  4. Try a different power outlet. If you are using a power strip, try plugging the subwoofer directly into an outlet.
  5. Move the subwoofer closer to the soundbar. The subwoofer and soundbar need to be within 30 feet of each other in order to connect.
  6. Update the firmware. Sony releases firmware updates for their soundbars and subwoofers on a regular basis. You can check for updates by visiting the Sony website and entering your product information.

If you have tried all of these steps and the subwoofer is still not connecting, you may need to contact Sony customer support for further assistance.

Here are some additional tips that may help you troubleshoot the issue:

  1. Make sure that there are no obstructions between the soundbar and the subwoofer.
  2. If you are using a wireless connection, make sure that there are no other wireless devices nearby that could be interfering with the signal.
  3. Try using a different audio source. If the subwoofer is not working with one audio source, it may work with another.
  4. Avoid placing the subwoofer near metal objects or other electronic devices that could interfere with the signal.
  5. If you have recently updated the firmware on your soundbar or subwoofer, try rolling back the firmware to a previous version.
