How to Start a Jackery Return
Don’t box it up and ship it. Jackery’s warehouse won’t accept a package unless the RMA number is on the shipping label.
Here’s the process:
- Email [email protected] with your order number and the reason for the return. You can also start through the Jackery Return Application portal.
- Wait for Jackery to send your RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number and a prepaid return label.
- Pack the item in its original packaging with all parts, accessories and documentation.
- Write the RMA number on the shipping label on the outside of the package. Don’t write it on the product box itself.
- Ship it within 15 days of getting your RMA.
One label covers one package. Never reuse an old return label. Carriers may accept the package at drop-off and then discard it in transit, and Jackery won’t cover a package lost that way.
Bought on Amazon? An Amazon return slip with a barcode is not a Jackery shipping label. For a Jackery return, you still need an RMA and label from [email protected].
What’s Covered (and What Isn’t)
Eligible for return (within 30 days):
- Products bought directly from jackery.com
- Items in original condition with all parts, accessories and documentation
- Defective products, delayed shipments and damaged packages (Jackery pays the return shipping on these)
Not eligible:
- Products that were custom-configured or branded to your specifications
- Returns started after the 30-day window
- Packages without the RMA number on the shipping label
- Purchases from Amazon, Best Buy and other retailers (that retailer’s own return policy applies)
Items that come back in less than original condition can still be returned, but Jackery applies a restocking fee and takes it out of your refund.
How Long Does the Jackery Refund Take?
Once Jackery receives your return, the refund is processed within 10 business days to your original payment method.
Refunds to a credit card can take another 7 to 10 business days to show on your statement. If it still hasn’t arrived, check with your bank first, then email [email protected].
Warranty vs. Return Policy
If your Jackery stopped working or arrived with a defect, that’s a warranty claim, not a return.
The warranty period depends on the model, and it’s listed on each product page. Coverage details are in Jackery’s Service Policy. To make a claim, email [email protected] with your order number or proof of purchase, the serial number, and photos or videos of the problem.
Jackery pays shipping on verified defects. But if you send a unit in as defective and their technicians find it working, you’ll be charged shipping and a restocking fee. Past the warranty period, Jackery also offers paid out-of-warranty repairs and a trade-in program.
